SMART
Moves
Ambassadors

The Grade 6-12 SMART Moves Ambassador Team

At the International School of Düsseldorf we want to make sure that our students have as much support as possible. For that reason, some of the best people to support new students are the ones who will be working alongside you - your fellow students.

Each year, 16-20 students are selected to become SMART Moves Ambassadors. Their primary task is to provide comfort and support to new students as they transition to and from ISD. SMART Moves Ambassadors work as a team to welcome new students, help them find their way around the campus, understand the class schedule, introduce them to other students, advise them about sports and activities to get involved with, answer questions, and much more. From time to time, SMART Moves Ambassadors also organize social activities for new students, including outdoor movie nights, bowling trips, pizza lunches, trips to the Christmas markets, ice-skating and much more!

Prior to their arrival, new students can get in touch with the SMART Moves Ambassadors through the ISD SMART Moves Ambassador Team "Contact us" lists. Please follow the link below to get in touch with our volunteers and to begin learning more about life at ISD.

Note that the New Student Transitions site is password protected as it contains ISD student information. Please email Mr. Layman or a member of the ISD Admissions Department for the password to access the site.
